Strategic planning might not be a traditional practice for attorneys, but it is one of Anna's key areas of focus, pairing her years of experience in labor and employment law with her acuity in identifying and evaluating options based on multiple legal and business variables. For organizations as well as projects and initiatives, Anna's process begins with identifying the business goal then charting a course to achieve it by providing referrals to, and coordination with, an established network of resources that might include industry leaders, public relations and media professionals, cultural and community groups, government liaisons and other consultants.

Elento-Sneed is Hawai'i's representative for the Employment Law Alliance (ELA) and the immediate past state director of the Hawai`i chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also a frequent lecturer on various labor and employment topics for public and private organizations.
