Robin H. Kobayashi

Robin Kobayashi started her career as a labor and employment attorney at the NLRB and high-profile law firms. However, her experience on the other side of the table as a nonprofit CEO helped her understand what clients really need: "Most individuals running a business want their attorney to understand the competing demands of their business, and provide practical, economical advice."

Kobayashi's practice areas include labor and employment law and corporate governance. Kobayashi provides labor advice and represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board. She represents employers in labor arbitrations based on contract interpretation and disciplinary grievances. She defends employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.

Kobayashi also provides non-profit organizations with advice on personnel management and other employment issues, assistance on strategic planning and Board development and training, and counsel on government contracting.
